1. Quotes and Bookings

Quotes are fixed for 14 days and based on the dimensions, weight and dates you provide. A booking is confirmed when you accept the quote in writing; re-weighs or date changes after confirmation may adjust the price, and we always confirm adjustments before dispatch.

2. Liability and Insurance

Carrier liability applies to every load under applicable Carmack, Hague-Visby and Montreal Convention limits depending on mode. Full all-risk cargo insurance is available at 0.35% of declared value and must be requested before pickup. Claims require written notice within 14 days of delivery with photos and the booking reference.

3. Payment

First-time shippers pay before dispatch by card or transfer. Established accounts receive monthly consolidated invoices with 15-day terms. Storage beyond agreed free time bills daily at the rate stated on your quote.

4. Dangerous and Restricted Goods

Hazmat shipments require a safety data sheet and approved packaging before booking. Undeclared dangerous goods may be refused, returned or disposed of at the shipper's expense, as the law requires.

5. Delays and Force Majeure

Transit times are estimates based on carrier schedules. Weather, port congestion, customs holds and other events outside our control do not create liability, but we reroute and rebook at our own coordination cost and keep you informed throughout.

6. Legal Information

Routecore Fleet Solutions operates under FMCSA motor-carrier authority, FMC ocean-forwarder licensing and IATA cargo accreditation. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Questions about any clause: contact support.
